Purl Project Tote (medium size), Rifle Paper Co Linen Canvas & Waxed Canvas Bottom Multiple Fabric Options

This listing is for my medium size project bag, the Purl Project Tote. Purl is 15 inches tall,  11 inches wide and 5 inches deep. 

As a new knitter I’m a bit obsessed with designing the best project bag that works for my projects. Honestly, it takes me forever to knit or crochet anything to completion so it sits in my project bag for the longest time. Let’s just say I’ve made more than a few bags for my works in progress  

I designed this classic project bag for a custom order last year and I loved using it myself (I always keep the prototypes for my own use). I was knitting a small but bulky shawl and this mid-size project bag was perfect for keeping my knitting close at hand when I had a moment to sit and knit.

Size: This my smallest on the go Purl Project tote. It’s a sweet 14 inches tall (12 inches with the drawstring closure folded down, 22 inches around and 5 inches across the rounded square bottom.

Each Purl Project Tote features cotton webbing hand straps.

All the Pockets: With 3 pockets sewn inside and 1 outer pockets and reinforced with interfacing, this Purl Tote is the perfect size for a finer project such as socks, lacework or shawls. I made it roomy enough for stashing yarn and carrying your handmade works in progress projects, knitting or crochet needles, weaving supplies, felting supplies, or as your everyday project bag. The front pocket is primarily for flat items  

This tote is made using premium linen canvas fabric on the outside.
The bottom is a heavy weight cotton canvas fabric that I hand-waxed to make it water resistant. The liner is an unbleached 7 oz cotton canvas.

Strap: This Purl Project Tote features sturdy 1 inch cotton webbing straps double sewn along the top to keep the handles in place.
Care: Spot cleaning as needed is always best to keep your tote looking its best longer. Waxed canvas cannot be laundered. Do not wash in a washing machine. Do not Dry in a Dryer. Do No use a hot iron on the waxed canvas.
