Meet Your Maker
Hello and welcome to Stoney Lake Textiles. I make your bags, garments and homewares in my little textile studio located beside Stoney Lake in the Kawarthas Ontario. My studio is on the second floor of our restored log cabin nestled in a woodland acreage. I’m an Indigenous -Upper Cayuga- textile artist who specializes creating slow crafted products using Japanese textiles, natural, Eco and GOTS certified organic textiles. Just like the flowers in my gardens, I love floral fabrics. The fabrics I use are inspired by my gardens and the nature that surrounds me every day. We have a slower simple life and I folllow a slow crafted practice here in the studio. I take my time making each product. All Stoney Lake Textiles products are hand crafted by me with care to be beautiful, functional and made to last. My Zero-waste studio focuses on sustainably made products and is a smoke, scent and pet free, allergen reduced, Super Clean Happy Place where I get to make the prettiest functional things just for you.
