Pinafore Style Linen Dress, Maker’s Gardeners Dress with Big Pockets

I love a good apron. I specialize in Cross-Back Pinafore style linen aprons that are listed here in my shop. But my aprons have to be worn with pants or shorts, at least if you’re wearing them in public.

My clients asked for a pinafore style dress that can be worn in the studio, garden or as a causal weekend pop over dress that can be worn on it’s own or over a Tee Shirt and tights. 
Enter the Pinafore Shift Dress! 

I created this super comfy pinafore style dress based on my popular cross-back pinafore apron style. This dress has the same bib front, with a round neck or V neck option. The back straps aren’t crossed but they do have a ‘crossed’ V shape appearance without slipping off your shoulders while you’re working.  

Size: My one size fits most medium to XL Size Measurements: 16 inches across the chest, 48 inches at the Hip  and 32 inches long with adjustable a wide hem that can be lengthened if needed.

This pinafore style dress is a loose yet comfortable fit. While my ready to ship dresses are made in a standard ‘Large-one size’ a custom made dress is made to fit you exactly.  If you can’t make it into the studio for a custom fitting we can work online and you provide current measurements to ensure your pinafore dress fits you perfectly  

Its Got Pockets: This Pinafore Dress features two larger front pockets and one small phone pocket on the skirt portion of the dress  

Care: It’s washable! The linen & Cotton blend fabric that I use for this dress is easier to care for than typical linen as it can be cold water washed in a front load washing machine and hung to dry. A hot iron removes any wrinkles. If it accidentally makes it into the dryer expect this linen blend to shrink by 4 % which is approximately one full size!
