I love a good book tote. When I was making totes for my clients I knew this boxy sturdy tote would be a staple bag for anyone who commutes daily or goes to the library often

I started making these sturdy tote bags for library books but they’re also perfect for use at the beach, getting groceries, going to the gym, in the dorm room or your little one’s most valuable possessions at daycare.

This simple but sturdy tote is well-crafted using heavy 10oz unbleached cotton canvas inside and finished with the always beautiful designer Rifle Paper Co Canvas Linen on the outside. I use a bag making interfacing to reinforce the bottom and the top along the straps  

The approximate dimensions are 14 inches tall 16 inches wide 4 inch square cut gusset.

Each Simple Sturdy tote features 20 inch drop straps made with premium cotton 1 inch wide webbing.

These Simple Sturdy Totes are fully washable but spot cleaning is best to keep your tote looking its best longer

Cold water wash and hang to dry only.  You will get some fabric shrinking if you use hot water or place them in the dryer, up to 4%. A simple hot iron on the outer fabric will make your tote look neat and crisp after laundering. DO Not Bleach.

I was tired of trying to find my keys in the bottom of my totes so you will find a simple key or change purse clasp sewn inside each tote.

This tote is handmade by me in my Super Clean, smoke, scent and pet free allergen reduced studio.
